Left-Hand Rule: To demonstrate the left-hand rule, start by fixing the coil on the bracket and connecting it to a 6V DC power supply. Then, connect a key and sliding varistor in the circuit. Use the U085 shoe magnet to straddle the coil so that the pole between the two poles of the magnet is parallel to the plane of the coil. When the circuit is turned on, the coil will rotate in a specific direction around the vertical axis. Changing the current direction or the direction of the magnetic field will also change the direction of rotation of the coil. This rule helps students understand the relationship between the directions of current action.

Right-Hand Rule: For the right-hand rule, fix the coil on the bracket and connect the two ends to an ammeter to form a circuit. Insert the U085 shoe magnet into the coil and make the coil cut magnetic field lines in the magnetic field (the line swing angle 240). When the coil is inserted into the shoe magnet, the deflection of the pointer on the ammeter indicates the generation of an induced current in the coil. Similar to the left-hand rule, changing the direction of the coil movement or the direction of the magnetic field will also change the direction of the galvanometer pointer. This rule helps students understand the relationship between the direction of the magnetic field, the direction of motion of the coil, and the direction of the induced current.
